In addition to being a teacher and scholar of Spanish Literature for more than 30 years, Jelinski is the author four books including "Water Like The Soul of An Angel," a book of poetry about the authentic experience of nature, "Searching For Magdalene," a memoir about searching for his mother, "Poems For Intelligent Children With A Sense of
Humor," and his newest book of poetry "Life's Delights and the Spectre of Death. " Now in his eighties, Jelinski decided to publish this book about savoring life’s delights while facing the challenges of aging and the difficult circumstances of the contemporary world.
